Effective Personal Leadership Skills Programme

Our twelve-phase Effective Personal Leadership Skills programme will reveal your true potential and help you develop the personal leadership skills you need to achieve your goals and create a winning environment for your staff. During the 12 modular programme, you will discover the benefits of the LMI's unique approach that will focus on the incredible impact of gradual change that occurs with spaced repetition and multi-sensory learning. You also be introduced to and practice the art of effective goal setting that will ensure these changes last long term. Additionally, the personal, and career goal planning and tracking systems will ensure you become aware of the progress you are making and what the next steps in the personal development journey are. During the personal leadership programme, we will increase your knowledge of the roadblocks that are preventing you from realising your full potential. When you feel you have developed the personal leadership skills, we will develop a ‘Plan of Action’ that is bespokely crafted to your goals and obstacles. During this personal leadership development journey, you'll hone in on five leadership foundations essentials that will ensure you develop confidence in your ability to become an effective leader.

Boost Your Self Confidence and Self Image

We believe wholeheartedly that every person has the ability to achieve more than they ever thought possible. However, due to childhood and or adverse life experiences employees have been conditioned to think and behave in a set way. The first step towards changing these self-limiting attitudes and behaviours is to raise self-awareness. To help participants we have crafted useful personal assessment tools to aid you in this ongoing process of improvement.

Boost Your Level of Self-Motivation

Your learning journey over the 4-month period will consist of online meetings, one-to-one catch-up coaching meetings, online reading and assessment exercises to complete. You'll also receive a very effective podcast series that accompanies the programme. It's designed with the busy worker in mind so you can listen to recordings at a convenient time for you. Coaching will be the theme throughout your 4-month journey. We'll never tell you what to do; you'll decide what's right for you on this journey of self-discovery we all go on together.

Develop Excellent Communication Skills

For over 60 years, when we coach, support and develop employees, we understand that everyone is unique and, therefore, may have different communication style preferences. As you develop your self-leadership skills, the programme will focus on how to communicate effectively with varying personalities of staff within the workplace. We have developed a series of valuable tools for you to assess your preferred communication preferences, and we'll also show you how these might differ from those of other colleagues.

Increase Resilience and Block Self-limiting Beliefs

Most successful leaders have the ability to bounce back from setbacks in life and at work. Not everyone is born with innate abilities. We believe an excellent leader is not born but made. Through training, coaching, and life experiences, they all adopt a growth mindset and are never consumed by their self-identified weaknesses. You'll be constantly developing your mindset to ensure that when you complete the programme, you will no longer be knocked off course by limiting self-beliefs.

You’ll be introduced to L.M.I.’s concept of The Total Person. Work is an essential aspect of our lives, but for the majority of people on the planet, it’s not the only central focus we have. For us to feel fulfilled, remain motivated, and have a sense of achievement, we will need to live a balanced life. This requires self-awareness, where we will identify the other elements of our lives that give us joy, fulfilment, and a sense of meaning. During this course, you’ll discover the importance of setting meaningful work and personal goals. We will help you develop a holistic strategy to harmonise this, and in turn, your decision-making will improve as you make the right choices based on your core values and priorities. Again, this takes practice, which is why any journey worth taking takes time and commitment. I have been running a business for 10 years or so. One of the challenges I have is that as I move through my career my habits have become calcified and a little stuck in their ways... after a while you become a little stuck in a rut, often without realising. Running a business is hard, its a constant-endless juggling act and getting perspective on whats important is a challenge.
